Re: Petition EN6254 – Restoration of a validation document to authorized amateur radio operators
If you are an Australian amateur radio operator, you know the issue you are currently facing with the ACMA’s new license structure now known as ‘Class’ licenses and the ACMA’s new policy of not issuing you an actual license you can show people, and their intent to dissolve the current database where Australian amateur radio licenses are verified.
Above is a link to a petition to the Parliament of Australia, House of Representative, requesting the House order the ACMA to restore issuing actual licenses for purposes of verifying that one is a duly licensed amateur radio operator.
While the petition itself does not request that the ACMA also continue to maintain the online database, it is still vital that all Australian amateurs sign the petition in an attempt to have your voices heard in asking that the House of Representatives order the ACMA to continue to issue an actual licenses so you can show those who need it, like us at Hamshack Hotline, leadership at EchoLink, AllStar, RadioID.net, and so many others.
Thank you.
