Ok folks, its time once again to promote our RF links, and our DMR BM TG 31688. Like to see more RF links added across the country, and more of you using our DMR TG. As I continue to advocate Hamshack Hotline is an augmentation to our communications, not a replacement! So please join somewhere on RF.

Ken & HH folks.
My name is Dale Finley, Kb5nft.
During the summers, I/we go to Philmont Scout Ranch to show, tell, talk ham radio to as many scouts, advisors, staff and visitors as possible.
This summer is World Jamboree in West Virginia, July 21-August 2. We talk ssb, psk, DStar & echolink to them from Philmont.
Are you working with the Jamboree folks in any way to assist them with their SIP phone comms?
Is it possible we could link up with them via SIP? And any other HH users.
They will he doing some ISS comms with the space station and telemetry across the world.
Please see K2bsa.org. World Jamboree site for tons of details.
BTW, Icom supports us heavily so we might not do much DMR. Is there a DStar “bridge”?
We’ll be using DStar Reflector 33A during the Jamboree.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Dale as of yet we are not, however would love to help you out. Scouts are a great place to promote amateur radio as you well know. What many have been doing in the demonstration of Hamshack Hotline, are to use their WiFi, and or cell phone Air cards. I would suggest you set a phone up on an Air card for Jamboree on the air to add to the communications experience. We could absolutely coordinate folks to be on a conference bridge during that time.Hamshack Hotline does not have a DMR bridge, however we have a few RF bridges that have extensions that do have D Star. Please let me know how we can help, not sure if your on our Facebook page, or Mattermost platform? Would suggest if you weren’t to try and check those out as more efficient communications, than here on website. Thanks again 73 Ken
