Hamshack Hotline Relaunch

Hamshack Hotline
Relaunch
The Long Wait….is over!.
The Hamshack Hotline is now completely migrated to the AWS Cloud. Thank you for
your patience over the past three weeks. Unfortunately, with the move we lost the Calls In
Progress function, we hope to bring it back soon. Our thanks to the Hamshack Hotline’s
K1WiZ(John) for his efforts at making this migration a success.
Now that we have migrated, we are now officially able to get those Help Desk tickets
processed in the order in which they were received. We also are again able to take new line
request on all systems, with the service you have come to expect here at Hamshack Hotline
(usually within a 24 to 48 hour period, though as always not guaranteed some days).
I also am excited to announce with our relaunch, we have added 3 RF links on the
Hamshack Hotline. With this I would like to thank KC8QCH(Jeff) and W0JAY(Jay) for their
hard work and dedication to help us make Hamshack Hotline better for you.
Hamshack Hotline’s very own BM TG 31688, we urge all with DMR capabilities to
please program it up, and start using this talkgroup. We need to have activity on it in order to
maintain TG. An extension to this TG will be created soon.
Jeff’s link is #94001. It is TheGuild’s Allstar node 47374 with call KM4SZU. The PTT
codes are *99 for transmit, and # to unkey.
Jay’s link is #94002 and is Allstar node 43780 and is linked to BM TG 31257 NXDN
31257, YSF 31257, P25 31257. The PTT code for Jay’s link are *99 transmit, mute button to
unkey.
So now that we have RF links we have now created a general RF block (94xxx) , and an
ARES RF block (7xxx). You are reminded to follow all FCC standards when using these links.
Our unlicensed folks will continue to have access to other HHUL extensions and our
conference bridges, but obviously will not have access to the RF links.
Again thank you and please continue to promote us here at Hamshack Hotline in your
Ham Radio activities.
