Hamshack Hotline Assessment?

We have had a very exciting past several months here at Hamshack Hotline. We have grown from two operational servers, to now four serving the globe. We have recently integrated the unlicensed portion for those who are just venturing into communications, in order to promote those people to eventually become licensed amateur radio operators.

I am looking for honest assessment of the service, and those who attempt to serve you as the client. Let us know what you like, and what you don’t like about Hamshack Hotline.

In that I would like you to expound on the positive, and have a solution for the negative and not a bitch session against any individual or the system. Hamshack Hotline is what we as a whole make it. If we work together the sky is the limit, if we make it an individual thing we have no hope.

If there are changes you want we can look at them, I am not saying we will but we will keep and open mind and do what is best for the good of all amateurs.

I am looking forward to your comments. Thank You Ken ReynoldsKA1EZH

HamShack Hotline Unlicensed server!

Get Ready for Great Things!

Something new is on the way for TheGuild. We are pleased to announce a joint venture with our friends at Hamshack Hotline. The HHUL (Hamshack Hotline Unlicensed) Server is being prepared and will be ready to launch very soon, courtesy of World Wide Amateur Radio Guild Inc. HHUL will allow ALL members of our organization to access a great VOIP/SIP platform through both Cisco hard phones and the Acrobits Groundwire application. More details coming soon.

In the meantime, be sure to checkout HH at https://hamshackhotline.com!

ARES Training Update
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve had enough wet weather
for a while. On the upside, my grass is looking pretty good lately
although, I’m mowing often. It doesn’t look like we are going to get
much relief from the frequent showers with hurricane season being
off to a wild start. Florence is threatening the East coast with up to
40 inches of rain. That along with the storm surge will present a
serious threat to personal safety and property throughout the area. For those of you who have taken advantage
of Hamshack Hotline and gotten you free VOIP connection, there is a direct connection using Bridge Port #313
to the Hurricane Watch Net.

VOIP Hurricane Network

I would like to take time to thank Jason and Jeff for setting up the Voip Hurricane Network on 313(PIN#GUILD). This was a very last minute request that I posed to Jason and he pulled through. Not much activity now, but I am sure as Florence makes land fall there will be much traffic. I am asking all who are in its path. to heed all of the safety and evacuation requests, and to maintain their safety so that you can be useful in relief efforts. We are no use to the public if we are DEAD! Also looking for pictures of anyone possibly using Hamshack Hotline Communications (soft or hardphone) involved in communication efforts for Hurricane Florence.

HELP Needed for NEAR-FEST 2018!

Hello all I am putting another request for HELP! I would really like to have some people volunteer to man an Exhibit for the hotline at the NEAR-FEST hamfest(http://www.near-fest.com/) next month in New Hampshire. I very much appreciate your support of spreading the good word of HamshackHotline.com
to your given areas, but to further our vision we need boots on the ground. If we got a hand full of people, we would only require a short amount of your time. Without we will have to turn this offer down. I am extending my deadline to tommorow at 5pm EDT.
